Yes. Free is designed for one tumbler and one barrel. If you run several machines—or need more barrels on one machine—Premium unlocks unlimited tumblers (up to 8 barrels each), cloud backup, the experiment lab, and unlimited Hub sharing.
Local means your batches, notes, and photos live on your phone only. If the device is lost, damaged, or reset without a backup, that data may be unrecoverable. Premium cloud backup stores a copy tied to your account so you can sign in on a replacement phone and restore your batches and notes.
Yes. Timers, barrels, and batches live on your device—you can check stages whether you’re at your tumbling spot or away from Wi‑Fi. You only need a connection for sign-in, Premium cloud backup, Hub sharing, and other online features.
